Dr. David Stansfield has been a family practice physician for over 30 years. His knowledge and approachable attitude makes him the perfect doctor for all ages. He earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic medicine which provided him the opportunity to study medicine as an integrated whole. His treatments look at the entirety of the patient in order to provide treatment. He also supports the community by working with the Children’s Advocacy Center, Jefferson County Health Department and Pony Bird.
Dr. Yankowitz is new to our practice and is now seeing patients.
Ashley Scaglione is our Physician Assistant (PA). She graduated with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Before PA school she did Head and Neck Cancer research in the Otolaryngology Department at Washington University in St. Louis with multiple research publications and worked part time as an EMT with Abbott EMS. She graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is an alumni of St Pius X High School. Her caring and compassionate personality is well received by patients and she makes a great addition to our team.
Michele is a Medical Administrative Assistant, and has been working for Dr. Stansfield since 1995. Her responsibilities include posting insurance payments, following up on claims, sending out statements, reconciling patient accounts, and establishing payment arrangements for outstanding accounts. She is also responsible for patient medical records and coordinating the doctor’s calendar. Her loyal attitude and her eye for detail help make her an integral part of our team.
Tricia has worked with Dr. Stansfield for over 18 years. In addition to helping out at the front desk, Tricia is our Certified Medical Coder and handles insurance referrals for the practice. Her sweet disposition and helping nature help make the office a welcoming place.
